I lead a team of four through crafting a business solution currently in use by three DevMountain campuses. The housing portal allows administrators to manage student residents as well as associated properties.

Administrators can add students, create 'cohorts' (groups that students are organized into), manage other administrators, as well as manage entire properties on different campuses.

A complex filtering system for students allows admins to selectively view any combination of students, as well as make any necessary changes to student info.

Most importantly, admins are able to drag and drop students who need housing into open rooms, thus removing the need to rely on Excel spreadsheets and to manage hundreds of students across nationwide campuses.

Readers are able to view lists of articles based on specific tags (such as cooking, JavaScript, politics, etc.) as well as like or bookmark articles for later viewing.

Writers can use a customized text editor to draft, style, tag, and publish articles. Drafts are auto-saved, so writers can track progress and reference previous drafts. When a reader likes or bookmarks an article, the author receives a notification informing them of who took what particular action.
